Mayorga Coffee

Overview
This project was created for a Latin American coffee brand that truly values origin and cultural authenticity. I called it Highland Blooms, a concept that takes the familiar idea of spring florals and gives it a new life by celebrating the wildflowers that naturally grow in the highland and mountain regions where coffee has its roots.

Goals
The aim of this project was to create hand-drawn illustrations with a tactile, artisanal feel that truly reflect the brand’s authenticity and heritage. I wanted to develop a flexible modular system of floral elements that could adapt across packaging, branding, and editorial applications. The color palette was inspired by the natural hues of mountain flora to capture the warmth and vibrancy of Latin American culture. Overall, the visuals needed to align with the brand’s story, celebrating the regions and people behind Latin American coffee.

Results
All illustrations were hand-drawn in Procreate using chalk and crayon texture brushes, giving the work a handcrafted, authentic aesthetic. The modular floral system makes it easy to adapt compositions across different media, while highlighting emblematic flowers from the Latin American highlands with cultural and botanical accuracy. The earthy greens, rich oranges, and vibrant reds created a palette that feels lively, warm, and culturally resonant. The final visuals balance artistic expression with meaningful storytelling, celebrating both springtime and the people and places behind the coffee.
